Hannah was born and raised in North Carolina. She comes from a loving family, and has many, many fur-babies! She has always had a passion for animals since she was a young girl. For example, she was the girl on the playground trying to sneak all the caterpillars into her classroom, by putting them in her pocket. Years later, after acquiring new skills, a formal education, and experience in animal care, it has fortunately become her full-time job.
At Charlie Mike, Hannah is excited to rescue dogs and help find them a loving home. To her, it’s also more than that: she is committed to providing veterans with a fur-companion who helps to repair and mend the unseen wounds of combat, every day. Coming from a family who lost a loved one in a terrorist attack, she has seen both the broken hearts, and the cost, of conflict. By being around so many animals all her life, Hannah has also seen their ability to heal those wounds and broken hearts, as well.
