Volunteer

Scope of Activities. This Release applies to all activities involving Charlie Mike, Inc. and CharlieMike.org, including but not limited to participation at the Charlie Mike Farm, The Commissary, off-site events, travel, outreach, disaster response, therapeutic and equine programs, fundraising, community activities, and any situation where I am volunteering, attending, or representing Charlie Mike in any capacity.

Release and Waiver of Liability. I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Charlie Mike, Inc., CharlieMike.org, and their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, partners, sponsors, property owners, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, illness, or death that may be sustained, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Assumption of Risk. I understand there are inherent risks associated with activities including, but not limited to, working around animals (including dogs and horses), physical labor, farm environments, kitchen and food preparation hazards, hot surfaces and liquids, equipment use, uneven terrain, weather exposure, travel, transportation, crowds, and public interaction. Risks may range from minor injuries to serious or catastrophic injuries including paralysis or death. I knowingly and voluntarily assume all such risks.

Indemnification. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Charlie Mike from any claims, damages, costs, or expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising from my participation or conduct. No Insurance or Financial Obligation. I understand Charlie Mike does not provide health, medical, disability, or liability insurance coverage for participants and assumes no responsibility for medical or other expenses.

Medical Authorization. I authorize emergency medical treatment if deemed necessary and accept responsibility for all associated costs.

Photo and Media Release. I grant permission for photographs, video, or recordings of me to be used for educational, promotional, or fundraising purposes without compensation.

Governing Law and Severability. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina and is intended to be as broad as permitted by law. If any portion is found unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in effect. This Release is binding upon me and my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.

Acknowledgment of Understanding. I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY, INTENDING IT TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW.
